The Fire Place in Palm Desert – What an interesting play on words for a hearth store. It is truly “a place for all things fire”!
In 2010, The Fire Place was born. With a deep love of the hearth industry, Phillip Schroeder wanted to have one of the best showrooms in California. In 2016, The Fire Place moved to an almost 7,000 sq. ft. location at 73-185 Highway 111, Ste C, Palm Desert.
Expanding on their line own of Tuscany Inspired fireplace doors, screens, tool sets, and irons and fire sculptures that Phillip has copywrited and patented. “We not only make our own designs, but we also can make a customer’s design come to fruition” says Phillip. The Fire Place is also extremely competitive and aggressive in their pricing, making fireplace doors for half that of local fireplace door companies yet retaining quality. There are a couple companies that come from out of town but our doors are better and less expensive. We have our own staff that goes to the home for inspection.
Coming from a long history of managing interior design firms, Phillip understands the dreams customers have for their homes and works closely with local interior designers to assure their clients are “wowed”. Offering fireplace accessories from Ultra Contemporary to very Tuscany or Spanish influences The Fire Place can always impress. “The new store gets many compliments but is still a work in progress,” says Schroeder, “we have made some great strides but we still have another year to go before we have our dream showroom.” They have also introduced barbecues and many unique firepits and outdoor fire features.
