Cloud 9 Medi Spa
Q&A with Kim Hagen, Owner of Cloud 9 Medi Spa

What is unique about your practice?

What sets Cloud 9 Medi Spa apart from other medical spas is the personalized treatment that we give here. We do not have a group of injectors giving different, inconsistent results. All treatments are done by me, and I take the time to get to know each patient and their needs.

Career-defining moment?

My career defining moment would have to be the fact that I have an artistic side, but I also love being a nurse. When I did my initial training for injecting Botox and Juvederm, it dawned on me that I could combine my two passions and create my own business. I love going to work every day!

Your happiest professional moment?

My happiest professional moment, luckily, happens quite often. Whenever a patient tells me that I have made a difference in their life, whether it is raising their self-confidence or making them feel younger and healthier, it really lets me know that I am helping others.

Your greatest achievement?

My greatest achievement would have to be watching Cloud 9 Medi Spa grow over the last 8 years. We started Cloud 9 in the beginning of 2008, and we were going into a recession. Things were very tight in the beginning, and we lost homes and cars, but we persevered. We went from a brand new, struggling business to ranking in the top 3% of the country for injecting Botox and fillers in 8 short years! If we had given up when times got tough, I would have never realized my dream.

How would you spend extra time in a day?

If I had more time in a day, I would spend it researching and testing new products and services. When you love what you do, you only wish that you had more time to do it!

What do you like most about your job?

I love the personal fulfillment that I get from my profession. I have corrected unsightly scars on women’s faces. I have helped teens get rid of acne and adults remove acne scars. I have helped people who are unhappy with their wrinkles or body issues to feel more attractive. All of these restore one’s self-confidence, and helps them to become a happier person. I really love what I do, and I look at every day as an opportunity to help others live the life that they want.
